Workshop Details
Per Kenneth Doka, “Disenfranchised grief refers to a loss that’s not openly acknowledged, socially mourned or publicly supported.” Grieving a suicide loss can be isolating and lonely. This workshop is an opportunity to be with others experiencing loss by suicide, to learn more about disenfranchised grief as it relates to suicide loss, and to expand one’s skills to cope with this loss.
